I was at work but it was a different and unfamiliar building. I had come in and was very tired and so was resting my eyes at my desk before work/ once everyone started coming in, I went over near the door and there were fun games. I was trying to read the instructions with another lady but we couldn’t understand the rules. At one station you were supposed to get a pair of plastic sunglasses and decorate them. At the other one there were large plastic flat Coke bottles. Somehow you could win a large garbage bag full of glitter. I was worried that you had to be on the phones to participate but I picked up the items anyway. As I was walking back to my desk, I walked through the lobby for our consumer division. My old high school friend Kristal was there escorting a customer back. There were a lot of customers in the lobby and I thought that was odd. There was also a contest that involved nerf guns. I was excited because I was picking up everyone else’s bullets they left lying around. I told someone the story of how many of those I had thrown away over the years. I picked up a bunch from Ben’s cubicle.
Once I got back to my desk, I couldn’t concentrate on work. I had been working on a TextBroker assignment after hours writing content for our online portal for Shirlwy (my friend from church.) Also she had me writing consumer contest materials where agents could win a southwest flight to a bull riding event. No one knew I was writing those since they were after hours, but I couldn’t stop thinking about them.
So I decided to go to lunch. I went with one of Dylans’s old friend’s mothers and three of her friends. One friend in particular was very cute. She was black and had braces. They all wanted to know if she was pregnant but she wouldn’t answer. Then she wanted to know how we knew each other and they wouldn’t answer!
